L'oreal Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation SPF 50
Hi, thanks for stopping by! Today I'll be talking about the new L'oreal Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation.
This foundation is marked for mature skin and claims to be all day hydrating.
It says it will even out skintone while giving a natural radiant finish. It also says it won't settle into lines.
Okay, so the word "Radiant" caught my eye and I gave in. Now let me state, I am 32 years old, I don't quite fit the mature catagory just yet. That didn't stop me from trying this because I love anything that will give a glow.
I grabbed two shades Golden Vanilla and Golden Honey. I found these shades to have the closest undertone to mine. At my local CVS they had a few of these in stock so these were my picks. The formula of these are nice and true to their claim hydrating.
Wearing Golden Honey
I found that this foundation wore all day 8hrs. In my opinion, my foundation looked great all day. It didn't budget at all. I didn't find that it settled or caked into my lines or around my nose. I got a little oily due to wearing a mask and humid 90° weather but otherwise I'm happy with the wear.
Here's what I wasn't happy about...color match. I just couldn't find my shade match. Golden Honey was dark on me, I made it work for the wear test but I couldn't ignore the shade difference at my jawline. Golden Vanilla was too light, almost ghostly on me. One could say buy two shades and mix, but this foundation costs $15.99. The last deal breaker for me was it broke me out. My guess is that the spf in the foundation didn't agree with me.
I think that this a beautiful foundation from the drugstore if you can find you shade match. It truly wear nicely and all day.
