Makeup for Glasses
Conceal
1. Conceal your undereyes. This is very important because glasses can cast a shadow and emphasize dark circles. Apply concealer in a trianle shape and blend blend blend.
I love L'oreal Infallable concealer and Milani conceal + perfect concealer.
Brows
2. Eyebrows are a MUST. If you're not already enhancing your face by filling in your eyebrows, it's time to! Your eyebrows compete with your frames and when they're not filled...your glasses win. This is especially true if you have thin, sparse brows (like me).
Good news, brows are a piece of cake. Your local drug store will carry a variety of brow pencils and brow powders. My personal favorites are Covergirl and L'oreal. Brow brushes that are cut on angle and have a spooley on the end will certainly get the job done, and of course brow gels are perfect for quickly styling your brows on the go.
Eyeshadow
3. Define your natural eyes shape with 2 eyeshadows. 1- to highlight the lid and brow area. 2- to mimic the natural shadow that is your crease. This shade is one close to your skin tone but just a hair darker.
Eyeliner
4. Line your pretty peepers. Lining your eyes will enhance and showcase your eyeshape. You don't need to do a cat eye, simply lining your eyes with black or dark brown eyeliner will make your eyes pop.
Mascara
5. Black mascara is a must. Of all the shades of mascaras available the best colour to make all eyecolors and shapes really stand out is black. Be daring and throw on a few coats of mascara for extra WOW.
Now if these are a lot of steps to do for everyday, I totally hear you. Personally, my top 2 musts are filling in my eyebrows and concealer. My eyebrows are quite sparse at the ends and become less noticeable when I have on glasses.
